Biography:

Join the quartet of cello, clarinet, flute and piano for a specially curated and easy-listening journey through much-loved classics by Dvorak, Villa-Lobos, and Brahms.

Hourglass Ensemble, winners of Best Foreign Album for 2024at the Polish Musical Eagles Awards, also bring you emotive, exciting, and highly accessible new gems from leading Australian and American composers.

The works by Greenaway, Chance, and Davidson reveal beautifullly atmospheric, fillmic, quirky, and evocative sound worlds which audiences across the globe adore from the first hearing. Premiering these and other commissions by local composers in dozens of tours and projects, Hourglass have an outstanding record of championing new Australian music for over a decade.
