guitarist Guy Strazz
This fast-emerging and synergetic duo will uplift and enchant - with classics such as Berimbau and Chega de Saudade, 19th Century Rio chorinho, beautiful samba and bossa nova ballads, as well as virtuosic instrumentals and lovingly crafted originals. Guy is an award-winning guitarist, composer and recording artist, who is well known for his albums and collaborations with artists as diverse as Slava Grigoryan, Ashok Roy, and Vince Jones. Anna performs both nationally and internationally, and has achieved great acclaim for her show ‘Gorgeous Songs from Brazil & Beyond’, which features some of Australia's best jazz and world musicians.

Deborah de Graaff (clarinet), Thomas Crome (horn), Tony Wheeler
(clarinet), Tonya Lemoh (piano).
Programme includes the Trio for clarinet, horn and piano (1900) by
Gustav Jenner, Schumann Fantasy piece and Romance, Mendelssohn
concert piece for two clarinets, Schumann Adagio and Allegro for horn
and piano.

4: Saturday 10th November at 3pm,
Glebe Town Hall:
The Convict's Daughter- Songs of Australia The "Ballad of the Convict’s Daughter" is a song by Horace Keats to a poem by Corporal Sheila Sibley. The convict’s daughter represents Australia for whom the singer’s lover gave his life in war. It is in a segment of three pieces about war, to mark Armistice Day on Sunday 11th November. The other two pieces in this segment are: "Anzac Threnody" by Miriam Hyde, and a world premier performance of "Moons as Big as Mountains" by Brennan Keats - composed to words from letters from his brother Russel, who wrote them from HMAS Canberra and who lost his life when she was sunk. Brennan Keats is hoping to attend the concert. The remainder of the programme is music by Australian composers to texts by (mostly) Australian poets. The songs are representative of music of Australia - the convict’s daughter.
